GINGERBREAD COOKIES

One day of my christmas I made gingerbread cookies with my cousin Maria, I like a lot when we made cookies or candys like these because its funny and then we can eat. I enjoy a lot this moment beacause I like to spend time with my cousin Maria.

The process was this:

INGREDIENTS

4 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 teaspoons ground ginger
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1 cup butter at room temperature
1 cup brown sugar
1 large egg
1/2 cup honey or molasses

PREPARATION

1.MIx the flour, ginger, baking powder, cinnamon and cloves.

2.Beat the butter, which is at room temperature, with the sugar until it dissolves completely.

3.Incorporate honey or molasses and egg, and finally incorporate the flour mixture with spices. Mix well the two doughs.

4.Place the dough into a sealable plastic bag or in an airtight plastic container. Book in a cool place, but not in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours and up to 6 hours.

5.Stretch the dough and cut cookies using molds.

6.Bake at 180 degrees for 15 minutes.

7.Decorate to taste.

THE THREE WISE MAN

In Spain we celebrate this day, because is when the kings came to Spain. In all Spain has a ride with carriages, the people who are in the carriages, launch sweets, balls, games… For all the children’s that are there.

This day in Spain is always celebrated on 6 January that is when presents are given, but my mother this year celebrated on 5 at nigth and I did different this year, as my mother had hidden the presents at home so, I had to look for gifts that were hidden and when and when I found them could open it.

I'm very happy because I have really enjoyed all the gifts

HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE!

This day is very special in Spain and in the all world because the people changed the year, people before and people after, depends on the time zone. In Spain we celebrate this day about 00:00 o’clock eating 12 grapes. This day my friends of the school and I we decided to celebrate it celebrate all together.We went to Juana's house. We were 13 girls and we dinner in Juana's house, we buy a lot of pizzas for everyone and the party was in Juana's house, when we finish the dinner we take some photos. We ate the grapes and we made a toast to celebrate the arrival of the new year,we celebrated a lot!  After that we dance, sing and we did crazy things. Then we stay at the home talking about our stuff. After talking we went to sleep. I had a really good time with them. And I hope the next year be like this or better.

PRETTY LITTLE LIARS

Pretty Little Liars is my favorite serie, is addictive and I'm super hooked. I known the serie because a friend loves and taught me. There are four main characters, Hanna, Aria, Spencer and Emily.Pretty Little Liars tells the story of four teenage friends found a year after Alison, the leader of the group, disappeared mysteriously. All of them begin to receive signed by one "A" with secrets that only Alison knew, so they think their friend is playing with them, the problem comes when after finding his murdered body, the messages keep coming, it is clear that "a" is playing with them, she is willing to do anything for they do not know who is. The main characters are:

THE PIRATES OF THE CARIEBBEAN: The curse of the black pearl

I’m going to talk the book I read this summer holidays  he name is Pirates of the Caribbean: The curse of the Black Pearl, and is adapted by Irene Trimble

This book is from Disney, is based the film, the director was Gore Verbinski and starring by Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom in the lead roles.

This book is about pirates, the captain Jack Sparrow sails into Caribbean waters, but end when his nemesis, Captain Barbossa, after stealing his ship, the Black Pearl attacks the town of Port Royal and kidnaps Elizabeth Swann, the governor's daughter. Will Turner, a childhood friend of Elizabeth, joins Jack to rescue and recover the Black Pearl. But Barbossa and his crew are victims of a spell that condemns them to live forever and to transform every night into zombies. The spell only can broke if they return a piece of Aztec gold and fulfill a blood debt. The rescue of Elizabeth will be difficult, the curse is real and will be difficult to deal with those who can not die.

ONE DAY ON SUMMER

I met with Yoli, on afternoon we go with Lucia, Marina, Juana and Silvia, we go to Peñacañada club because it has a very big swiming-pool, Peñacañada club is a fiels club, we stay there a long time and then we go to my house because I had renovated the house and I had a new room, then Lucia, Marina, Juana and Silvia go to her's houses and Yoli stayed at my home to sleep. WE HAVE FUN!

THE LETTER TO MY GERMAN

Dear , Laura

Hello, I’m Mar  and I’m 13 years old. I’m your spanish girl.    

I haven’t any brothers and sisters, I’m only daughter. I live in La Cañada, is a village of Valencia, and I’m studying in Escuela 2, I’m in second of High School. My parents are separated, with my mother I live in a chalet in La Cañada and with my father in Higueruelas, which is a very little village.

            My best friend are Silvia, Yoli, Juana, Lucia and Marina, in the weekend we met together, but no all together, we met for example Yoli, Silvia and me, depends. I like very much to be with they, they are very fun and friendly, and we have a lot of familiarity because we know from we are three years old.

I like to travel, my last travel was to London, I enjoyed a lot. The city is very beautiful to see. I went to London Eye and it was very exciting because you can see all the city and I saw the Big-Ben, Saint Paul’s Cathedral, the Houses of Parliament.

I’m waiting for the day we know with great enthusiasm and I hope that we had a very good time together.

MY IDEAL PERSON

   I'm going to talk about my ideal person, first I talk to his fisical description and then to the psychological description.

My ideal person is 15 years old, he is a teenager boy who has a short, wavy and dark brown hair. 

His eyes are very nice, there are very bigs and the colour is dark blue.

He usually shows a lovely smile with cute dimples on both of  his cheeks.

Also he has a cute freckles under his eyes, a little more up their cheeks.
 
His skin is brunette,he is strong but no a lot, and he has a coconut earrings in his two ears.

He is a really nice person, is funny and very friendly because he always has a smile in his face.

But the thing that I like more of him is that he is faithful and honest.




  

CARNIVAL

In this entry i'm going to talk about Carnival:
The Carnival it's a festival  where people dress, it's very fun because the costumes are very diferents and someones are very funny. The Carnival is asociated with the catholic countries, is the pagan party more people celebrate and enjoy in the world, dress up and paint the face it back to antiquity.
As we know today, the carnival is very likely to be a continuation of the ancient Saturnalia, the roman festivals were held in honor of the god Saturn.

I enjoy it a lot my carnival day, it was at the school, my costume was of  "choni", it was with a basic black shirt, a leopard-print maya, a denim shorts, headscarf with leoperd print, plastic jacket and sneakers.
IT WAS VERY FUN.

This is the book I read in this holidays, Whithe Death, this book is about a girl which name is Sarah is 19 years old. She is at the airport and the police find some heroin in her purse, in the toothpaste.
 
His mother and her ex-boyfriend know that she is not guilty.
 
So Sarah is in jail until proven she is not guilty, she says she isn't guilty, but she goes to trial. At trial, her ex-boyfriend and her mum try to help her.
If the judge decides it is her heroine, then she is doomed to death.
 
Everyone knows that she is not guilty, but then was who?

Sarah's mother is investigating to find the real culprit.
 
A few days later he realizes that it is Stephen, the ex-boyfriend of
Sarah had to put the heroine in the toothpaste when they are traveling together.
 
Now that Sarah's mother knows the truth, she will tell the Police, who is the real criminal. But it's too late?

And to finally I think this book is very interesting and entertaining because you don't know who is that put the heroine in the toothpaste to the end.
